At U-VERIFY™, we believe drug and alcohol testing should be accurate.
We know that behind every test there is a real person, a real family, and often a very stressful situation. Our service was built to protect both the integrity of the results and the dignity of the people involved.
U-VERIFY™ is a DNA verified urine drug and alcohol testing service that lets people test from home, work, or while traveling, without someone watching over them. We connect forensic DNA verification with accredited lab testing so courts, agencies, and programs can trust the results and people can keep their privacy.
Our Story
U-VERIFY™ grew out of a simple but often overlooked problem.
For years, many people had to go to collection sites, wait in lines, and provide observed samples in uncomfortable situations. For parents in family court, people in recovery, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and anyone with a history of trauma, those moments could feel harsh, humiliating, or even re-traumatizing.
At the same time, judges, case workers, and treatment teams could not simply relax testing standards. They needed clear, defensible results that would stand up to scrutiny.
U-VERIFY™ was created to meet both needs at once.
We are built and operated by Phamatech Labs in San Diego, California, a SAMHSA certified toxicology lab that has been running since 1991. That lab experience gives our service a strong scientific backbone, while our team’s lived experience keeps us focused on compassion and practical reality.

What We Do
U-VERIFY™ provides DNA verified urine drug and alcohol testing that fits real life.
DNA Verified Identity
Each test links a urine sample with a one time cheek swab. That DNA profile is used to confirm that the urine came from the correct person for that collection. It gives an extra layer of confidence beyond a simple name or ID check.
Lab-Based Toxicology
Our test panels cover a wide range of commonly used and misused substances, including alcohol markers. Samples are tested in an accredited laboratory using advanced instrumentation, not just point of care strips.
Private, Unobserved Collections
Participants collect urine in private, usually at home or in another comfortable setting. There is no need to be observed in a restroom, which can be especially important for people who have experienced trauma or who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Secure Shipping and Fast Results
Samples are sealed in tamper evident packaging and shipped to the lab with tracking. Results are usually available within a short window after the lab receives the specimen, and are posted in a secure portal for authorized users to view.
